Yr 5 Weekly Update 15 Aug 2016
Dear Parents,
We hope you and your children have had a very enjoyable break and that they are well rested and eager to return to school on Tuesday.
The Year Five Team are very much looking forward to welcoming our students to what, we are sure, will be an exciting and fulfilling year with many new experiences and opportunities for them to develop themselves as committed learners. We look forward to meeting you on Thursday the 25th August at the Year Ahead meeting where we will be able to give you a brief overview of what to expect this year. Included in this meeting will be information on Y5 camp which will be from Tuesday 22nd November to Friday 25th November, key curriculum information and information on some of the many other opportunities the children will be able to participate in over the year. Also, we will have the chance to get to know each other a little better during the Welcome Meetings on Monday 29th August where you will be able to give us valuable insight into your child – see the school newsletter for how to book your appointment time.
