Yr4 Weekly Update – 05/19/17

 

We have had a fantastic week completing our summative assessment for this unit. We have planned, built and presented our models in an engineering challenge. Groups of three used simple machines to design playground equipment. All of their skills of planning and applying were tested in a team situation and their junk modelling skills also got a chance to shine.

We also had a real treat this week from the Bassistry music workshop. We drummed, danced an d sang our way through a great session of music and rhythm. The students were humming and tapping all the way through the rest of the day!
