Dear KJS Families,

As you have heard already, distance learning has been extended until, at least, the end of the first week in March. It is timely and useful then for KJS teams to engage and consider the distance learning feedback data that is currently being shared through our year-level surveys. Thank you to those of you who have already completed a survey. If you haven’t been able to already then I would really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes of your time to complete this survey. Though we have continued to refine our distance learning practices in response to feedback over the past two years, there is always the opportunity to improve. The surveys will close this Friday at 9 a.m.

As part of our commitment to supporting student and staff wellbeing, you may notice your child participating in an online yoga class at some point before the Easter break. While optional so that we can be respectful of each class’’ learning priorities, a significant number of our teachers have chosen to incorporate this initiative into their distance learning plans. We will continue to seek ways to support wellbeing during this challenging time.

Kind regards,

Dr Jamie Schmitz

Acting Principal
