A group of 19 children participated in “The Race” at Discovery College on Saturday taking advantage of Opportunity while enhancing their Wellbeing. They participated with pride and determination and represented KJS so well. At the same time another group participated at the Tournament of the Minds (TOM) at Renaissance College. These children showcased Agency, especially given they had to be self led (while teacher supported), give up endless hours in preparation all to compete with the other students from around Hong Kong, in an intense STEM problem solving challenge event. Both events highlight the opportunities provided for our KJS students to succeed and challenge themselves to their personal best, and to be risk takers and problem solvers. This week will end with another celebration of learning and opportunity at KJS with our KJS Music Concert. We are looking forward to seeing and hearing our children express themselves through the arts on Friday night and once again celebrating the diversity that is KJS school. Kind regards 亲切的问候, सधन्यवाद Neill O'Reilly Principal UNICEF Kid Power Programme already a great successIt has been a fantastic effort from both students and staff over the last few weeks with the KJS community earning 512 RUTF packets for malnourished children.
