Principal’s Message

Dear KJS families,

I hope this newsletter finds you well.

As many of you will know, earlier this week, our Year 5 students and staff embarked on an exciting residential camping trip in South Lantau.

Despite the wet weather, they have shown great resilience and had a fantastic time. It was wonderful to witness their enthusiasm and teamwork when I visited the camp earlier today. A huge thanks to all the staff in attendance who have given up their free time to ensure the children are well taken care of.

As we wrap up this half term, I want to express my gratitude once again for your unwavering support. This support plays a vital role in the success of KJS and we are fortunate to have such committed families.

As always if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our dedicated staff. Together, we will continue to provide the best possible education for our students.

A reminder that after the mid-term break, we will be welcoming our students back on Tuesday, October 31st.

Finally, I would like to wish the whole KJS community a safe and restful mid-term break.

Mr Gavin MacGregor

Principal

Student Success

Thank you for sharing your child’s achievements with us over the past year.

While individual achievements are undoubtedly significant and provide a source of pride for both the student and their family, sharing every student’s accomplishments on our social media channels is no longer feasible. Our intention is to create an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of their individual accomplishments, feel valued and celebrated.

That being said, we encourage you to share your child’s achievements with their teacher and peers, as well as within your personal social media networks. This way, your child’s accomplishments can be recognized and celebrated by those who know them best.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to navigate the post-pandemic educational landscape. Our school community’s strength lies in our collective efforts to celebrate the diverse talents, achievements, and experiences of all our students.
