Dear KJS Families,
With the Christmas break on the horizon, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in what has been a very engaging, enjoyable, and enlightening first term for me at KJS. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know your wonderful children, as well as our incredible teachers, EAs and support staff. I also would like to wish you all a safe and fulfilling break.
As a reminder, please encourage your children to help us celebrate this joyous time of year by wearing Christmas-themed or any other celebratory clothing this Friday. We will be having three fun-filled Christmas assemblies on Friday, and the abovementioned will only add to a great day of celebration.
Last Friday, we were fortunate enough to be able to invite a small number of families in to watch a wonderful student concert. Students involved in a number of after school music activities performed for us with great enthusiasm and energy, and it was clear how much they appreciated the opportunity to share their learning. Thank you to Ms. Ho and Ms. Mak, in particular, for promoting and arranging this event.
I also had the pleasure of participating directly in two African Drumming sessions with year five students last Thursday morning. It was an uplifting experience to connect with year five students through such a cooperative and energising endeavour.

Donation Raised – Dress Casual Day 10 December
A total of HKD13,891.10 was raised during last Friday’s Dress Casual Day. We will donate the total to Catherine’s Puppies, a Hong Kong registered charity. Thank you for your generosity!
Student Success
The celebration of student success will channel to our Facebook page. You can find the school’s Facebook here. Please keep the photos and stories coming of our children shooting the AAROW’s of Success!
